The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime. The Manager will work closely with production teams to identify potential problems and implement solutions that enhance equipment reliability and safety. This role demands a proactive approach to maintaining molding machines, assembly equipment, plumbing, electrical wiring, and structural components within the manufacturing environment. Ultimately, the Maintenance Manager contributes to maintaining a safe, productive, and compliant workplace by applying technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support set-up and optimization of new equipment and production lines.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Perform small automation changeovers
- Repairs chillers, thermolators, loader systems, grinders and resin dryers.
- Collaborate with production and safety teams to identify maintenance needs and implement corrective actions efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints and technical manuals
- Previous experience working with injection molding machines is preferred
- Proficiency with automation systems
- Experience with servo motors
- Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in manufacturing environments.
