Independent HR Assistant in an International Environment (24 hours)

About the role
As an HR Assistant at AFA Dispensing, you know exactly what’s happening across the organization. In this varied, fast-paced role you handle a wide range of HR tasks, keep our administration running smoothly, and have the freedom to optimize processes and create valuable reports. You’ll work closely with multiple departments and contribute to the development of strategic HR policy.
There is plenty of room to grow and further develop within HR.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related questions.
  • Maintain HR administration (changes, personnel files, correspondence).
  • Support onboarding and offboarding.
  • Draft employment contracts, addenda and other HR documents.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to HR insurances, pensions and related topics.
  • Submit changes and check payroll for accurate processing.
  • Write and post vacancy texts across channels.
  • Register and follow up on absence; provide first-line guidance.
  • Liaise with UWV and apply the Wet verbetering poortwachter requirements.
  • Generate HR reports to support strategic HR policy.
  • Support the HR Manager on global HR projects.

About you

  • Completed HR education and relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and acts proactively.
  • Highly structured, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge of labor law and absence management.
  • Experience with HR reporting and HR systems.
