At AFA Dispensing, we are on a mission to deliver safe, sustainable, and high-performing dispensing systems globally. To strengthen our quality capabilities, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Global QA Officer who likes to built and who has experience and affinity in operations. In this role, you will lead the global QA strategy, ensuring product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our international operations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Quality Assurance
- Owns the Global Product Quality QMS, including standardization of regional QMS requirements and SOPs across production and supply chain.
- Ensures consistent product quality through ownership of NPI, MoC and Product Quality Control processes, including stage gates and controlled documentation.
- Supports and trains regional organizations, executes internal and external quality audits, and has authority to stop production or supply when required.
Product Portfolio Management
- Owns and maintains Technical Data Sheets across the global product portfolio.
- Ensures alignment between customer specifications, internal manufacturing capabilities and supplier requirements.
- Approves product, specification and deviation changes to safeguard product integrity and compliance.
Global Quality Reporting
- Owns the standardized global quality reporting structure from local to regional and global QA level.
- Drives Product Quality Performance reporting, including cost of poor quality, supplier and production QC results, and customer complaints.
- Owns and maintains the Global Product Quality KPI Dashboard for performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
Compliance Manager Product Quality
- Ensures legal, regulatory and customer compliance related to product quality, sustainability and chemical requirements.
- Translates QA, ESG and sustainability requirements into supplier standards, certifications, audits and SLA quality clauses.
- Coordinates sustainability-related product quality topics and supports compliance with applicable legislation and standards.
What You Bring
- A degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years’ proven experience in a senior quality role, preferably at a multinational in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Strong preference for industry-specific experience: plastics and packaging.
- Strong understanding of global QA standards, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with product lifecycle quality control and MoC processes.
- Ability to translate strategy into practical execution and standardization.
- Energetic and accustomed to working on-site with diverse nationalities in an international setting.
- Resides within reasonable commuting distance of the Eindhoven headquarters and have excellent communication skills in English.
