Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop global customer business in corresponding regions.
Search, identify, develop prospects and convert these into loyal and profitable customers
Execute, develop, and improve the sales activities, related systems & tools that contribute to achieving revenue objectives and loyalty with the customer & prospect base
Have adequate communication with prospects and influencing companies to build sustainable business relationships
Cold calls in order to reach out to prospects
Represent the company in customer meetings; present advantages of AFA product portfolio to various levels in the customer organization, mainly Marketing, Pack Development people and higher in rank
Prepare accurate bids, price quotes, meeting- & sales reports
Follow-up on quotations, generate sales report on a regular basis
Maintain an accurate business forecast (Sales Pipeline)
Follow upon Sales & Marketing initiatives
Plan and organize activities (travel, visits, meetings) required to achieve objectives
Actively attend meetings, training, exhibitions, seminars related to responsibilities
Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development (preferably in service-selling) and preferably a network in the Personal- & Home Care or Packaging industry
Experience in customizing the promotion & sales approach to every individual prospect (study the range and strategy of the prospect and adapt the presentation and offer accordingly)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to talk to people in different levels in the
company, good networking skills
Excellent ability to identify and search prospects in the designated sales territory
Entrepreneurial working style
Willingness to frequently travel within Asia to see prospects to present & explain product range of company, travel of up to 80%; for training purposes 1-2 times p. a. to the HQ
Experience, high confidence and passionate in closing deals
Willingness to hand over the new deal to Customer Service and Account Management and focus on finding and closing new deals
