Position
We're looking for an Executive Vice President (EVP) to lead and manage our European business, reporting directly to the CEO.
You'll oversee regional strategy, marketing, sales, business development and operations across the European and African region.
This role is based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Responsibilities
- Manage the EUAF profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow to ensure financial stability and growth, focusing on sales growth, business development and cost management.
- Develop and execute regional strategy and business plans within the company's strategic framework, with a strong emphasis on business development and regional sales growth.
- Oversee end-to-end operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management and distribution, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to customers.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, building teams that foster collaboration, empowerment and accountability to achieve regional objectives.
- Develop, implement and enforce guidelines and procedures in line with global standards to ensure operational consistency, compliance and efficiency across the European and African region;
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration and employee engagement. Inspire and motivate individuals and teams to align with AFA's vision and values.
Profile
- Master's degree in commerce, business administration, operations management, industrial engineering or a related field;
- At least 10 years' experience in a similar role in the consumer packaged goods industry, preferably in a global environment, with a preference for commercial and entrepreneurial experience;
- Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within the packaging industry, with extensive experience in sales, business development and operations management.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, production processes and manufacturing technologies;
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals and drive organisational change;
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to translate vision into actionable plans and drive execution at every level of the organisation;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to driving growth, sales and operational efficiency;
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the resilience and adaptability to navigate complex challenges and lead successful outcomes.
